To begin the move-out process, you must officially give notice in accordance with your lease agreement. Do not text or call your property manager, please completed the form below.

For most standard leases, this means 120 days’ notice is required. If you’re on a month-to-month lease, 30 days’ notice is required (please refer to your lease packet for the most accurate information).

Submitting notice does not override the terms of your lease. If your lease doesn’t expire for several more months, you are still responsible for fulfilling the full lease term. This step simply lets us know your intended move-out timeline and starts the formal process outlined in your lease packet.

📅 Don’t wait — this step is mandatory for all residents.

To make this process smoother and more respectful of your schedule, we offer the ShowingTime app. It allows you to customize how you’re notified about upcoming showings — by text, call, email, or push notification.

While setting up the app is optional, showings will still be scheduled. If you do not complete this step, you’ll receive default notifications, and showings will continue without your input.

Please note: Showings cannot be avoided. If showings are repeatedly declined, delayed, or rescheduled, we reserve the right to show the property without notice.

This system is in place to be considerate of your lifestyle and schedule, but it only works when everyone participates in good faith. The easier we make this together, the faster the home rents — which ultimately benefits you.

STEP 4: Move-Out Clean - July 31

According to your lease agreement, utilities must remain active throughout the full term of your lease, even if you vacate the property early. Rent is also due through the lease expiration date — these responsibilities cannot be waived or avoided.

To fulfill this step, please upload proof that your utilities are scheduled for disconnection

To ensure your property is evaluated fairly during the final inspection and that your security deposit is returned appropriately, you must upload a paid invoice for all professional services used.

The Residential Lease requires that you surrender the property clean and undamaged, less normal wear and tear as defined within the lease. It is our goal to return your full security deposit as long as you have fulfilled the terms of the Residential Lease.

Return all keys, garage door remotes, pool access cards, and any other device that belongs to the property to the Hometown Management office.
